This market resolves to the quarter in 2026 during which Cloudflare experiences a critical incident, or “Never in 2026” if no such incident occurs. A critical incident is defined as a major, unplanned outage or security incident that significantly disrupts Cloudflare services for a large number of customers and is publicly acknowledged by Cloudflare as a critical or severe event. Resolution Criteria: A quarter resolves YES if, during that period: - Cloudflare publicly confirms a critical or severe incident, such as: - A widespread global or regional outage - A major security breach or vulnerability causing significant service disruption - A failure that materially impacts availability, performance, or security for a large portion of users “Never in 2026” resolves if: - No Cloudflare-acknowledged critical incident occurs by December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. Clarifications: - Minor outages, brief degradations, routine maintenance, or customer-specific issues do not count. - Incidents must be unplanned and acknowledged by Cloudflare via: - Official status page updates - Cloudflare blog posts or incident reports - Statements from Cloudflare executives - Third-party speculation or media reports without Cloudflare confirmation do not count. - If multiple incidents occur, the market resolves to the earliest quarter in which a qualifying critical incident begins.
