If a new episode of Stranger Things is officially released to the public worldwide before January 1, 2027, the market resolves to YES. Otherwise, it resolves to NO. Resolution will be based on official reporting and announcements from trusted sources, prioritized in the following order: Netflix, NBC, MSNBC, Fox News, Spotify, IMDb, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, Entertainment Weekly, Associated Press, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, Axios, Politico, Semafor, The Information, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, ABC, CBS, and CNN. To qualify, the episode must be publicly available through an official distribution method such as streaming, theatrical release, physical media (DVD/Blu-ray), or authorized digital purchase/download. The release must be accessible to the general public and not limited to private screenings, industry-only events, film festivals, leaks, or pirated uploads. Trailers, teasers, clips, and soundtrack releases do not count unless the full episode itself has been released. Different cuts or formats of the same episode are considered the same release if the core content remains substantially the same. Foreign-language versions also count as the same release unless otherwise stated.
